Lane Closures (Nov. 8-15)

I-10/I-95 interchange reconstruction project
I-95 northbound to I-10 westbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED nightly from Monday, November 10 through Friday, November 14 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. Lane closings may occur at various locations within the project limits on I-10 and I-95 and on the side streets between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. The estimated completion time for this project is early 2011.

Branan Field Chaffee Road (S.R. 23) extension between I-10 and 103rd Street
I-10 westbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED from Chaffee Road to U.S. 301 on Wednesday, November 12 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. Halsema Road from Powell Road to Beaver Street will be closed in both directions on Wednesday, November 12 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. The project should be completed in the fall of 2009.

I-295 at U.S. 1
The ramp from I-295 northbound to U.S. 1 southbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED on Thursday, November 13 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. for roadway maintenance activities. Detour signs will be posted.    

I-95/ S.R. 9A east interchange reconstruction near the Jacksonville International Airport
One southbound lane from Cole Road to the I-295/S.R. 9A interchange (about 4,000 feet long on the outside) is closed for ramp construction until approximately April 2009. One southbound lane between on I-95 between the Duval Road and I-295 will be closed from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Monday, November 10. The new flyover ramp from I-95 south to S.R. 9A east should be finished in the fall of 2010.

Fuller Warren Bridge on I-95
Crews will be working in the emergency lanes in both directions on Wednesday, November 12 and Thursday, November 13 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.

Broward (Dames Point) Bridge repainting project
About 2,600 feet of the right southbound lane near the peak of the bridge is closed until the end of 2008 for the bridge repainting project.  About 2,600 feet of the right northbound lane is closed until the spring of 2009.
This project should be finished in the summer of 2009.

State and Union streets between Main and Jefferson streets
Lanes will be closed on State and Union Streets continuously from 7 a.m. on Saturday, November 8 until 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 9 for utility work.

J. Turner Butler Boulevard widening between Kernan Boulevard and San Pablo Road
No lane closings are scheduled for next week. The anticipated project completion time is the winter of 2009.

J. Turner Butler Boulevard/S.R. 9A interchange construction
Various ramp closings and directional closures will occur within the project limits on J. Turner Butler Boulevard and S.R. 9A from Monday, November 10 through Sunday, November 16 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. These closings and detours will not happen simultaneously. Only individual closings will occur on various nights. Detour signs will be posted. Single lanes will be closed within the project limits on S.R. 9A and J. Turner Butler Boulevard daily from Monday, November 10 through Friday, November 16 between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. This project should finish by the end of this year.

Blanding Boulevard resurfacing between Collins Road and 103rd Street
Single lanes may be closed in both directions next week at various locations within the project limits between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. This project should be finished by early spring in 2009.

San Juan Avenue near Hyde Park Road near Hyde Park Road
One westbound lane will be closed daily between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. (Monday through Friday) until Friday, November 21 for constructing a driveway.
 
S.R. 9A/Heckscher Drive interchange improvement project
Lane closings will occur at various locations within the project limits next week on S.R. 9A, Heckscher Drive and New Berlin Road. Lane closings are allowed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. New Berlin Road at the railroad crossing near S.R. 9A is closed until early 2009. This project should be completed by the spring of 2009.

New Kings Road near 25th Street
One lane in both directions on New Kings Road from south of 25th Street to Borden Street is closed through December for construction of a new railroad overpass at that location.

U.S. 17/Doctors Inlet Bridge widening between Milwaukee Avenue and Creighton Road (Clay County)
No lane closings are scheduled for next week. The projected completion time for this project is the winter of 2010.

S.R. 21 between Goldhead State Park and Keystone Heights (Clay County)
Periodic daytime lane closings may occur at various locations over a five-mile stretch of S.R. 21 for construction of a multi-use path and barrier wall at Lake Brooklyn. The work should be finished in early 2009.  

S.R. A1A/8th Street resurfacing from the Amelia River Bridge to Dade Street (Nassau County)
Lanes will be closed regularly in both directions at various locations within the project limits between 7 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. The work should end in early 2009.  

Lem Turner Road (S.R. 115) resurfacing between the Duval County line and U.S. 1 (Nassau County)
Lane closings will occur from Monday, November 10 through Friday, November 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for resurfacing activities. Work may occur at various locations within the project limits from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Saturday, November 8 to Sunday, November 9. This project should be finished by early 2009.

U.S. 1 under I-95 near the Flagler County line (St. Johns County)
One westbound lane will be closed on Monday, November 10 and Wednesday, November 12 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
